A downloadable game

STATIC-HEART

A mysterious, dreamlike RPG about a kid trapped in a world that feels assembled from places that shouldn't belong together.

One night, you stayed up a little too late.

The television flickered.

The screen turned to static.

And then everything went dark.

When you wake up, you're somewhere else.

A world of forests, basins, castles, and forgotten places.

A world where televisions sit among the trees, everyday objects appear where they shouldn't, and nobody can explain why.

Far from home, your only guide is a mysterious ghost named Lenny.

Everyone seems friendly.

The world seems peaceful.

But some things don't quite add up.

Across your journey, you'll travel through five regions that don't quite feel like they belong together:

  • The Forests
  • The Water Basin
  • The Volcanic Ashland
  • A distant Castle that feels closer to an ending than a place

Each holds its own secrets.

Each feels important.

Features (When all four acts are completed)

  • A cozy story-driven RPG that can be completed in a few hours
  • Explore five unique regions filled with secrets and memorable characters
  • Turn-based battles inspired by classic JRPGs
  • Memorable companions and boss encounters
  • Optional events, hidden encounters, and extra discoveries

Inspirations

Inspired by Undertale, Deltarune, Final Fantasy, and other classic handheld RPGs.

Some journeys are about saving the world.

This one is about finding your way home.

Nice to see another RPG Paper Maker game being made, keep up the good work.

I’m trying my best right now to learn advanced scripts in the game to just overall make the game feel more responsive. So glad to see other devs respond to my work
